random. often cat-focused. sometimes a little nutty sort of online diary with ventings, thoughts on life, food-related tangents, etc. probably not interesting to people who don't know me...

ice cold bitches

well, some crazy shit went down at work today.
i have tried really hard to believe that the y was different - not as corrupt as the corporate world, a little more caring about people in general... you know, the whole christian values thing. i guess i work for the cspa now(certain special people association). not that i don't still love my job. my department is great, and i actually came out of the whole mess looking pretty good, but i am saddened by how people are treating other people they had called "friends". they're pointing fingers and blame-shifting, and all it took was one honest person admitting what was really going on to have that person suddenly be the taker-of-all-blame. i'm just sickened, and very sad that i have to see some of these people at work every day, now that i've seen their true colors.
also i've learned that the word "confidential" means that only all the people who will get really pissed off at hearing certain information are told, instead of just anyone being able to find out.

Ugh. That sucks.

One of my friends from my DOD trip to Korea is here (with OPM) and we've been hanging out. I must say that talking with her reminds me how much I hated that job!

Also, speaking of work related shite, we hired a new guy, paid to fly him over here from the US, gave him a $500 cash advance... and then had to fire him because he didn't show up to work on his first day of classes because he was drunk off his ass at 3pm (when classes start). Don't suppose you know anyone who'd like to move to korea ASAP?
