management folded! the new policy requires some sort of scratch prevention (like providing scratching posts or clipping toenails) as opposed to mutilation. here's to cats with non-mutilated toes! now i must sleep.

Yay! That email they sent me was rather snippy though. Totally glossed over the fact that they had indeed wanted people to declaw their cats, even though now they say that alternative methods of scratch prevention are fine.
