moving again

so i haven't been emailing or blogging too much these days. i guess i lose my enthusiasm for staring at a computer screen after ... staring at a computer screen for a majority of the day. that and flipping through files. i do enjoy it for the most part though. the most irritating thing about working the same place as shaggy is that we commute together. AT THE SAME TIME!! so since his schedule sucks ass, i'm there from 5:15 am to anywhere from 5 to 10 pm. we are in the process of remedying the situation. shaggy's boss's son happens to be moving out of the rental condo that he rented from their family friend - said friend being more than happy to rent the place to us for practically no profit since we're friends of her friends and all. she's even okay with all of our cats! and it's a NICE condo! it's about as big as our old place, but the proportions are all different. the kitchen has a window in it (yay!) and it's rather large. the floor right by the door is wood instead of carpet, so hobbes won't be able to destroy it. it's got two bedrooms and two bathrooms, one of which has a jacuzzi tub... yeah, all kinds of fun stuff. and it's less than 2 miles from the y, so i don't have to hang out there the whole time shaggy's working any more. we talked to someone in the rental office here, and as luck would have it, they have no empty one-bedroom apartments right now, so they'd be more than happy to let us out of our lease, as soon as someone wants one. so yeah, we're moving to rancho penasquitos!
not that we've unpacked every single box from our last move yet, or anything...
