time flies

the whole month without shaggy has been dragging and draaaaaging on, and suddenly, i only have two days left, and the house is still a semi-disaster. and i have to work until a half hour before the plane lands, so we'll see if i even make it to the airport to pick him up... joy. it'll be a frantic couple of days. i'm trying to find somewhere to donate several trash bags full of fabric pieces that i don't want. i'd hate to waste them. i left a message at the closest high school to see if they want them for home ec, or something. maybe they'll call back.
i have a to-do list, and i was flying through it just great until a fellow crazy cat lady called me. then i went to her house and we talked cats for about 3 hours. she's going out of town, so i get to feed her house cats and ferals for a couple of weeks. i also get to trap and fix some of her ferals while she's gone. she's (get this) going up to washington to help out her mom who just had surgery. sound familiar?
so i'd better get back to the list, before realize how tired i am, and fall asleep.
