here's an almost verbatim quote from a conversation i just had with my sister. (i called her)

"amy: and then after the funeral, we went...
me: what funeral?
amy: grandma's
me: WHAT?!?!
amy: grandma died a week ago last sunday ..."

so you see how closely connected my relatives and i are.
